Red-Fang Akai Wants to Make a Run for It

After working for the Organization for fifteen years, Akai Shuichi decided he couldn't go on like this. He planned to run. So, in the middle of the night, he knocked on the Japanese Public Security Bureau's window, climbed into the great detective's home, strolled around the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, sent a letter to MI6, and then dragged the FBI and the uninvited CIA into the mess too. Finally, as he was leaving, he scooped up his two cousins who had been living away from home and made his grand escape from the Organization. Who's tugging at me? He turned around and saw a silver-haired big cat glaring at him and hissing. So now he had another person in tow. At the age of twenty-nine, Rye finally escaped from the Organization with a Gin hanging off his left arm and a Sherry hanging off his right! It's basically a story about love and the journey. I want to create a timeline where all three of them get a happy ending and have a complete family! Please note: The main story is in third person. Dark Akai + childhood-friend Akai and Gin + all three have known each other since childhood. Although Detective Conan is a Japanese manga, this story has more of a Western style. Because their backgrounds have been changed, the characters may differ from the original to some extent. Tagged as no-couple, with everyone in a platonic relationship. Read however you like, but to avoid any misunderstandings, the author ships Akai as the top. The first year of Conan's timeline in this story is sometime between 2010 and 2025. The timeline serves the plot, and the setting is based on reality, but certain things will be changed to get past review. 10/27 I revised the outline, so I'm rewriting the notes. The main story focuses on Akai, Gin, and Ai. The main story has a happy ending. The extras are undecided. All important characters survive. Any changes from the original will be explained in the story and author's notes. The original plot has been completely thrown out; it's become a chaotic pot of mixed-grain porridge. Not recommended for people who only like one character or are extreme fans. Gin is much more humanized than in the original, and since there's hardly any information about him, he's practically an original character based on rumors. Ai is much healthier than in the original, like a well-cared-for cat with a glossy coat. She's basically the pro max version of the Ai who first appeared to scare Conan, and she'll be a regular. Akai is a lot more unhinged than in the original and does whatever he wants. In this story, he doesn't care if anyone else lives or dies. Gosho's power scaling and the movies' habit of leaving a pile of plot holes for the Organization have made me work desperately to stitch things together. I've finally managed to make most of it hold up to real-world logic. It's all based on my own guesses from real life and the clues, but you could just as well call it my own setting. The historical background in this story is real, but the plot is made up. Conan's timeline follows the years in which the story takes place, so in the manga they always say "X years ago." Since the most exciting and important parts of Conan's main plot, as well as many major international events, happened around the 2010s, I set Conan's first year after 2010. The real-world references I looked up while writing follow this timeline. But not everything will line up that way. I'll rearrange and rewrite both the story and its real-world inspirations. You'll see echoes of many major events from recent years, or else the plot will be entirely original. Theme: Not being defined by others is an absurd yet noble kind of freedom.
