Yin-Yang Eyes

When Nan Taxing comes down from the mountain, the first thing he does is look for his childhood friend, Zuo Kun.

Zuo Kun is tall and mighty (he isn't), while Nan Taxing is delicate and frail (he isn't). A little sob story is all it takes for Zuo Kun to forgive him for disappearing without a word when they were young. Now he escorts Nan Taxing every day, even though Nan Taxing can see ghosts and is afraid of them.

Usually, Nan Taxing clings to Zuo Kun like a willow in the breeze, so frail he might break at any moment. "Brother Kun, don't go. I'm scared."

The moment Zuo Kun leaves, Nan Taxing's face goes cold as he warns the local ghosts and monsters, "Don't touch my man."

One day, Nan Taxing finally drops his act and steps in front of Zuo Kun, his voice calm and steady. "Brother Kun, don't be afraid. I've been cultivating since I was little..."

Before he can finish, a clueless monster lunges at them. Before Nan Taxing can lift a finger, Zuo Kun tears it apart with his bare hands. "What were you saying?"

Nan Taxing: "…"

* A scheming, long-haired Taoist priest gong who pretends to be pitiful but is actually very strong, and a slow-witted, takes-everything-at-face-value shou who really can tear monsters apart and is no ordinary person.

* The shou isn't tall and mighty, and the gong isn't delicate and frail. The gong is two centimeters taller than the shou, but he knows how to put on an act.

* High school to college. The fights are in the style of a ridiculous cartoon. They are both strong, both strong, both strong. The shou isn't tall and mighty; the gong is the one pretending to be frail. Thank you, everyone.
