(The author just finished watching the anime and felt so bad for poor little Iruma, so they decided to go through it all with him, at least so he wouldn't be so lonely.)
Suzuki Maru is 13. One day, while out working odd jobs with their 14-year-old older brother, Suzuki Iruma, they learn that their scumbag parents have sold them to a demon. And so, for no apparent reason, they begin a tough life trying to survive in the demon world (not really).
