[Blurb to be revised. It's a little clichéd.]
Synopsis:
Yuan Yao once thought she was mentally ill, because the "broom" in her home swept the floors by itself, the "computer" handled her work on its own, and the "kitchen knife" and "iron wok" in the kitchen chopped and cooked by themselves.
All this led her to seek treatment at the No. 2 Mental Hospital in the city, where she was promptly diagnosed with "severe schizophrenia."
Later, not only did these symptoms fail to disappear, they seemed to spread even further.
A little skit:
Kitchen,
Kitchen Knife: "Master, look at what vegetables you bought today! These carrots are so ugly. Even a dog wouldn't cut them. How am I supposed to?"
Yuan Yao washed the carrots and said calmly, "If the dog won't cut them, I will."
Before she could say another word, a heavy kitchen knife suddenly leapt into the air and swiftly sliced the carrots on the cutting board into evenly thick pieces.

Living room,
Refrigerator: "Master, please, can you stop stuffing durian into me? I can't stand the smell."
Yuan Yao was speechless. She took the durian out, quickly ate it, and grabbed some refrigerator deodorizer. But before she could do anything, the fridge and the deodorizer lost patience first.
Refrigerator: "Bro, hurry up! I can't stand this shit smell anymore. It stinks!"
Deodorizer: "I'm coming, bro. Get ready."
Soon, the deodorizer started spraying, and the fridge was filled with its scent.

Bedroom,
Bed: "Master, wash your mattress already! How many years has it been? Don't you think it reeks?"
Yuan Yao was in a difficult spot. She'd only bought the mattress last year when she graduated, so it was still new. It had been on the bed the whole time, covered by several layers of sheets, so it wasn't dirty. Was washing it really necessary?
Bed: "Of course it is! You have to wash it right now, this very minute. If you don't, I'm going on strike!" The bed creaked loudly.
Yuan Yao: "Okay, okay! I'll wash it."
Hearing this, the washing machine in the bathroom said, "You silly master, just leave it to me. I'll wash it."
The moment Yuan Yao lifted the mattress off the bed, it flew into the washing machine in the bathroom. The laundry detergent leapt into the air, and the washing machine plugged itself in and started its cycle, churning away.
Watching this, Yuan Yao suddenly thought that being mentally ill might not be so bad after all. Someone to cook, someone to mop the floor, someone to do the laundry. Life felt like a breeze!
Author's note:
1. From the heroine's perspective, this is a cozy slice-of-life story. To everyone else, she's genuinely mentally ill.
2. This is a plot-driven story, made up from start to finish. In the heroine's eyes, objects can talk, and it's not just household appliances.
