Also known as:
"How I Meant to Sleep with a Wild Monk and Ended Up Getting Tangled Up in Him Instead"
[Road-trip story | Devoted, protective love | Reunion after years apart | Mutual healing | Come by when you're feeling lost]
[Gentle, forthright, naturally seductive Tibetan ascetic gong VS beautiful, strong, miserable, hot-tempered celebrity shou]
Synopsis:
With a piercing roar in his ears, insomniac Dou Tangying has no ambition. He just wants to sleep.
A person has thirty thousand days in life, and in all those countless extra nights he has compared to others, he prays for eternal sleep.
He isn't going to the snow mountains to die. He just wants a good night's sleep in the promised land in his heart.
At the foot of the snow mountain, he runs into an old classmate.
Dou Tangying lives by the rule: if your heart skips a beat, flirt; if flirting doesn't work, seduce him; and if seduction fails...
Then just kidnap him down the mountain and marinate him in the ways of the world until he takes on the flavor.
But after traveling together for three thousand miles, Dou Tangying faces reality:
The Buddha can't save him,
but Dorjiya can do him.
Long Synopsis:
Ten years ago, Dou Tangying was a chubby southern boy with a crush on the Tibetan boy who had transferred to his school.
Ten years later, he has wasted away into a sickly wreck. He's gone deaf, suffers from insomnia, and his career has collapsed. He drives alone into a stormy night on the plateau.
Altitude sickness, hypothermia, ears ringing like an explosion...
He collapses in front of a dilapidated old monastery and decides to wait for death.
As he lies dying,
the door opens.
When he wakes up, he discovers that the person who saved him is the Tibetan boy he had a crush on ten years ago!!!!
The boy, once brighter than a Gesang flower, now wears a black robe and is calm and distant, like a withered tree on a snowy mountain.
When Dou Tangying asks if he remembers him, the man shakes his head.
When he asks if he's curious who he is, the man shakes his head again.
Dou Tangying: ? Then why did you save me?
At last, this "enlightened monk" speaks:
"I didn't save you. You saved yourself. You asked me who you are. I think you're a good person."
Because you're a good person... His merciful tone makes you want to hit him!
Beneath the moon, in a Buddhist temple, the devotee wears a black Tibetan robe. Red coral earrings dangle from his ears, and when those eyes Dou Tangying can never forget gaze at him for a long time, he feels desire for the first time in ages.
So, emboldened by alcohol, he speaks beneath the moonlight:
"Jiya, let's do it."
Faced with this flirtatious, frivolous butterfly,
the man lowers his eyes and looks at him for three seconds, then says:
"Old classmate, do what?"
Dou Tangying: ??? Didn't you say you didn't know me?
What a liar!
Dorjiya: "I looked back from before the Buddha, and from then on, the whole world was you."
The setting is based on both real and imagined places; this fictional story is both a dream and a part of everyday life.

I seriously stayed up late to see the snow-capped mountains! I read this book intermittently. I originally wanted to save it until the end to read it together, but when it was finally finished, I found that I had almost forgotten the plot and started reading it from the beginning again. At first, I came across the recommendation post of xhs and was attracted by the name. I especially like reading road articles. What impressed me the most was the part about Sister Yang Jin. She obviously made a contribution but was treated like this in the end. I watched it twice and felt very distressed. The part about her death at the end was also very tearful. Then there is the conversation between Grandma Gyatso and Dou Tangying. It was so shocking when she said that she could sing to the snow-capped mountains. It was the feeling that the world is vast and people are very small, but they are integrated with nature... Then there was the ambiguous period between Duojia and Dou Tangying. It was so good to watch. The two of them kept trying to catch me. I was so anxious. The scene of feeding cakes was so astringent and made me feel so comfortable. Finally, Duojia and Xu Chao said that they wanted to go with Dou Tangying. Oh, it made me feel so comfortable and sweet. In the early stage, I always wanted to know the past of Dou Tangying and Duojiya, especially Dou Tangying. The article mentioned that he had sleeping problems and an ear injury. It turned out to be really distressing to know. The same goes for Dogiya. It feels so uncomfortable to be scolded by the villagers even after his parents died. Dou Tangying is a lucky man. After coming to Tibet, he met Dojiya, and I think the people he met along the way in Tibet saved him and gave him hope in life again, such as Yangjin's sister Gyatso, grandma Qi Ningyou, and the aunt who stopped his car. Their experiences and other things will give Dou Tangying some inspiration (?) I was quite touched to see Dou Tangying begin to understand the meaning of singing. After coming to Tibet, Dou Tangying's life began to turn around, and it was no longer what it was before. Baby, you are so lucky. As for Duojia, at first I thought he had a kind of divinity (?). When he was with Dou Tangying, he would fish for people from time to time, but he was a very gentle person. The first time I saw him praying for the dead creatures, I was quite shocked. When I saw the song he said he liked, I felt that he was so lonely before meeting Dou Tangying. Duojia is also a good baby TT Can the story of Duojiya and Dou Tangying be replaced by the phrase "The world is so big, why did we meet?" It was Duojia who came to the mainland because of her parents' work and as an exchange student and met Dou Tangying. Duojia once heard Dou Tangying's song by chance, and then met again in far away Tibet. It was probably fate. TT Some of the supporting characters in Snow Mountain also moved me very much. They all have their own life stories, and each has his own life. After reading these people's stories, we Yatang still lamented that two people with different personalities and different experiences can be together. I really feel lucky... I felt like crying when I saw the lyrics of the last song sung by Dou Tangying. Dou Tangying has been growing up all the way to Tibet, our big star. The snow-capped mountains give me a feeling that they are vast and small, yet full of vitality. Life and death are no small things in this vast world. And there are so many delicacies in the article that I really want to try. . Tibet is a fascinating place. The road story is so good. Thank you to the author for writing such a delicious story. The young couple may always be happy😋 Maybe the writing is a bit confusing and different from the original text. Sorry orz, this is my first time to write such a long review of Love You Snow Mountain Sleeping Plan.
Read it seriously on 2026.7.21
Damn it, it scared me so much in the middle of the night
I don't want to be the first supporting character with such extreme/extreme dialogue weight and point of view output to be a girl, but I feel that if I weren't a girl, I wouldn't have such extreme/extreme thinking with flesh and blood.
Interactive! Feeling good now!
His mortal world has come to find him 🥺
Ah ah ah ah oh my god
