The Game Descends, but I Become an NPC

Lu Zhixu was an ordinary tour guide.

After he unexpectedly took a group of mildly ill patients from the city's psychiatric hospital on a tour, something suddenly changed in his world.

Pointing at the massive rock formation outside the window, a mountain view he had seen countless times, he introduced it to the tourists in the bus: "This towering peak is called Jiaxiu Peak. Its shape resembles a giant pillar holding up the sky..."

The players stared at the indescribable mountain of bloody flesh outside, watching countless chunks of meat fall from it. Their sanity instantly plummeted to zero. They clutched their heads and screamed in despair.

Lu Zhixu: ...Are they having an episode? Doctor, are you going to come help them?

A Cthulhu-world exploration game descended upon the world. Signing up for a tour became the main quest on the players' path to leveling up.

"Another one with a heart attack." Lu Zhixu wiped the sweat from his forehead and dragged the person onto a stretcher.

The rest of the tour group watched in terror as the guide personally dragged their companion into an endless void of darkness. They swallowed nervously, too frightened to speak.

Lu Zhixu clapped his hands. "All taken care of. We'll continue with the itinerary as planned."
