[Octopus and Pii Crossover] One Day, I Went to Buy a Cutting Board a Little Farther Away

While fleeing Yunmuka Manina, Kuse Shizuka spent a little longer than usual with Tako Pi in the park.

"The stationery stores nearby will be closed by now, won't they?" she said with some frustration. "I can't buy a desk pad."

But even if she bought one, it would soon be hidden away or snapped in half... She wouldn't get much use out of it anyway. Kuse Shizuka couldn't help thinking that her allowance would soon run out, and after that she probably wouldn't be able to buy another one.

Realizing there was an opportunity to let Shizuka use a Happy gadget, Tako Pi suggested they go somewhere farther away to buy a desk pad, while taking out the [Mysterious Door].

"With this, we can go straight to [a place that can solve your current problem], pi! Then we can go somewhere the stationery store is still open and buy a desk pad, pi!"

Faced with the cheerful pink alien, Shizuka hesitantly opened the door.

And so began the adventures of a girl and an octopus (a Happy alien), starting with a trip to buy a desk pad.

This is a Police Academy cast-rescue and Shizuka-rescue story, written to celebrate my favorite manga getting an anime adaptation. It won't be very long. I may write more stories starring Shizuka and Tako Pi later.

My personal interpretation of the characters' thoughts may not be accurate. If anyone feels I've written them out of character, please don't yell at me...

I won't vilify Manina, but I won't whitewash her either. No matter the reason, a wrong is still a wrong, and the harm caused is real.

Theme: A world where Kuse Shizuka will surely find happiness.
