The actor gong, notorious for his "bad temper," "diva behavior," and "always on the verge of a breakout but never actually breaking out," passes out from a stomach condition.
When he wakes up, he discovers that he's become a sickly stray cat.
He has no idea where he is. It looks like a tourist attraction, with scenery completely different from the city and wonderfully fresh air.
There are hardly any people on the road. It feels like a secluded paradise.
Just as he's enjoying himself, a basin of dirty water is dumped from nearby, nearly soaking him like a drowned cat.
He flies into a rage and unleashes a string of curses:
"Meow meow meow meow meow meow meow!"

One day, the shou, who runs a guesthouse in a tourist area, finishes cleaning and goes outside to dump the dirty water. There, he finds a little stray cat.
The kitten is highly defensive, filthy and scrawny. It scratches and bites if anyone gets too close.
Out of kindness, the shou closes the guesthouse and takes the kitten to the hospital. The vet finds a whole list of illnesses, costing the shou an entire month's income.
People advise him not to keep a cat with such a bad temper and poor health. It won't get attached, and it'll cost a fortune.
The shou looks into the kitten's eyes, seems to think of something, and resolutely decides to keep it.
After bringing it home, the kitten proves impossible to tame. It not only turns the guesthouse upside down, but also scratches a guest.
On top of that, it comes down with some minor illness worth a few thousand yuan every few days, and its value quickly climbs into the tens of thousands.
A few months later, just as the shou sees that the kitten is finally starting to warm up to him, it suddenly runs off into the night and never appears again.

Back in a familiar place, the gong walks straight behind the counter and sits up on his "usual seat," chin raised just like before.
The shou comes out and stares at him for a long time.
The gong is pleased with himself, thinking that a superstar of his stature showing up to film here will make the place famous.
The shou is sure to fawn over him and wait on him hand and foot.
Thinking of how the shou used to put on such an aloof front, the gong is delighted. At last, he can force him to show his true colors.
"You've been staring at me for so long. What do you want to say?"
The shou replies, "You're just as rude as people online say."
Then a new kitten, pretty and well-behaved, appears from behind the shou.
The gong hears the shou call the kitten by the name he used to call him.

The gong decides this won't do.
He has to make the shou hold him in his arms and tuck him into bed on cold nights like before, then rub his forehead hard against his cheek.
