Kujou Fujimi came from a declining jujutsu family, but because her cursed technique was unusual, she was forced to marry into the Zenin clan.
Her first husband was the 26th head of the Zenin clan, and their marriage was a relationship in name only. Fortunately, he was understanding and even indirectly helped her marry her second husband.
Her second husband was the Heavenly Restriction known throughout the jujutsu world. Since childhood, he had been discriminated against by the Zenin family for having no cursed energy.
Kujou Fujimi and he were childhood friends.
But her second husband died not long after their wedding, leaving her with a son and a daughter.
Kujou Fujimi thought she would never have anything to do with the Zenin family again. She never expected the son of her first husband to come looking for her after her second husband's death.
The boy she had watched grow up, the heir to the Zenin clan whom she had always believed hated her.
He blocked her at the door and cruelly held her hostage as he threatened her:
“You are Zenin property, and I'm the next Zenin heir. I'm just making use of my father's inheritance a little early. What's wrong with that?”
Desperate to escape her predicament, Kujou Fujimi thought it over and married for the third time, wedding the Six Eyes who had killed her second husband and becoming the wife of the Gojo clan head.
But the other man did not give up pestering her. Instead, he kept appearing in her bedroom while her husband was away on business, telling her over and over:
“You think marrying Gojo Satoru will let you get away from me?”
“Those old men in the Gojo family will never truly accept a woman who's been married several times as their clan head's wife.”
Later, her third husband was sealed during the Shibuya Incident, and her first husband was gravely injured and remained unconscious. The other man used her children to threaten her and said, “It's been so many years. Isn't it about time I became your husband?”
And so she returned to the Zenin family once more and married her fourth husband, Zenin Naoya.
One day, someone asked Naoya, “Who exactly is Kujou Fujimi to you?”
Naoya thought for a moment. His father's concubine? His sister-in-law?
No. She was his wife, the lady of the Zenin clan.
