Tsundere, secretly passionate top vs. looks-obsessed, naturally devious (?), bottom

An Yu once thought he was a staunch materialist.
The kind who never wavered.
But can someone explain why he woke up one day as a tiny kitten?
An Yu stared blankly at his tiny self in the full-length mirror, unsure what he was supposed to do next.
Ever since graduating from university, he had been holed up at home making online content. He had no pets, no roommates, and certainly no partner.
His parents hardly ever bothered with him unless it was a holiday.
There was nothing in the books about what to do if you turned into a cat, either!
He wanted to howl at the heavens, or, well, meow at them, and ask what on earth they were thinking.
1.
Xia Huai, male.
He has an annoying younger brother and a gossipy mother who keeps pressuring him to get married.
To escape his supposedly not-at-all-broken family, Xia Huai rented a two-bedroom apartment in town and opened a flower shop. Every day, he enjoyed the easy life with just himself and his dog.
That was until two children showed up one day and left him a cat.
...?
Xia Huai was just about to refuse when Child Number One let out a pitiful sob. "Please, handsome big brother! It'll have such a hard time wandering around outside all alone. Please don't abandon it!"
Xia Huai was at a loss.
He was allergic to cat hair. His symptoms were mild, but sneezing nonstop was still miserable.
But he didn't know how to turn these two kids down. What if they stood crying outside his shop and refused to leave?
With no other choice, Xia Huai nodded. "...All right."
2.
After a week of having a cat, Xia Huai miraculously discovered that his already mild allergy seemed to have disappeared completely.
After a month, he miraculously discovered that his cat was surprisingly clever and even knew how to play games on a tablet.
After two months, he miraculously discovered that his cat had gone missing.
3.
The cat had run off, and Xia Huai was frantic. He put up missing-cat notices everywhere, but there wasn't a trace of it.
A week later, a... pure-looking college boy in a gray hoodie walked into the flower shop, clutching a missing-cat notice he'd apparently torn down from somewhere.
4.
"So you're saying you're my... cat?"
Xia Huai couldn't believe it.
But he had no choice but to believe it.
An Yu nodded solemnly. "I've come to repay your kindness."
5.
Three months later.
Xia Huai held An Yu in his arms, his gaze dark. "Baby, where are your little cat ears?"
An Yu shuddered and answered in a trembling voice, "I'm not a little cat..."
Xia Huai chuckled, circling a finger around the base of his tail.
"Then why is the spot where your tail goes so sensitive?"
