The Storybook Under the Pillow

With the college entrance exams just around the corner, Ziyun's parents insist on forcing her to quit school and marry, using the betrothal money to buy a house and a wife for her older brother. After refusing, she runs all the way into the woods and enters a bizarre, fantastical world.

Here, she meets an ill-intentioned witch, little fairies selling magic potions, dwarves, and gray-skinned undead... She also meets a cool, aloof man in a moon-white robe, as bright and pure as the wind and moon. He says that in her previous life, she was the greedy little orange cat he raised, and that he prayed for a thousand years for them to meet again this time...

[If you're feeling sad, escape from reality for a little while.]
