* Gogo dancers are the club performers who get the crowd going.

Du Huai's life is a mess, and he regrets two things:
First, even though his mock exam scores easily qualified him for a top university, he didn't sit the college entrance exam.
Second, he took the money from his family's demolished home and blew a fortune opening a boutique, only to lose everything and get himself into a whole heap of trouble.
One night, broke and drowning in debt, Du Huai was dancing as a gogo at a nightclub. An old classmate pulled him into a private room, where he learned that Jiang Ruoyu, who had secretly loved him, had died by suicide in his junior year of college. Maybe it was over a broken heart.
What could Jiang Ruoyu possibly have been worried about? He wore new sneakers every day, came from a wealthy family, got good grades, and was only slightly less handsome than Du Huai. A broken heart? Could it have been because of me?
If only I'd known, I would've turned gay and gotten together with him!
Du Huai now had one more regret.
“Here's to Jiang Ruoyu!”
After downing his drink, his head spun, and he was reborn.
So Du Huai made a decision to repay his debt of gratitude: save money, lie flat, and make sure Jiang Ruoyu doesn't die.
I'm counting on you for the rest of my life, buddy!
Du Huai's underlings were dumbfounded. Their boss wasn't cool anymore.
The former campus celebrity now showed up on time, never left early, finished his homework, and became Jiang Ruoyu's shadow.
Du Huai: Jiang Ruoyu, are you in a bad mood? Who upset you? I'll make them regret it!
Jiang Ruoyu: ...You.
Du Huai: Huh? (smirks) That can't be right. I'm already the most handsome one around.
Everyone thought Du Huai had gone crazy, including Jiang Ruoyu.
Right after being reborn, Du Huai was always hovering around Jiang Ruoyu. “Jiang Ruoyu, weren't you secretly in love with me? I like you too, so let's get together.”
Jiang Ruoyu: ...You're sick.
“Jiang Ruoyu, I like you again today. Do you love me more now?”
Jiang Ruoyu: ...You're nuts.
“Jiangjiang, baby, come to Daddy~”
Jiang Ruoyu: Get lost!
Later, Jiang Ruoyu pinned him against a wall and kissed him breathless.
“Didn't you say you liked me? Come on!”
“Had enough of your straight-guy jokes?”
When he saw Du Huai standing there, stunned, his smile turned forlorn. Then he turned and walked away.
Du Huai came to his senses and wiped his mouth. “I-I think I really am gay now!”
Later still, Du Huai lay around, waiting for Jiang Ruoyu to peel some fruit and feed it to him piece by piece.
Du Huai: See? I knew you'd spoil me. I'm counting on you to support me for the rest of my life.
Jiang Ruoyu: (smiles) Sure.
Du Huai: Do you believe now that I really like you?
Jiang Ruoyu's paring knife paused over the fruit. He didn't say a word, just nodded firmly.
There you go. I gave you my life, so of course I really love you.
