[The blurb, title, and story may all change later. I just wanted to put up a preorder first. I haven't decided what to write yet.]
Going into the entertainment industry is the fastest way to make money and become famous.
A danmei drama begins filming.
One lead is an obscure actor the company went to great lengths to secure. The other is an established powerhouse, forcibly assigned to the production after falling out with his company and trying to terminate his contract. He isn't here to make money, but purely to spite the company.
The powerhouse only cares about acting, not selling their CP. During filming, he plays a domineering CEO in the throes of passionate love. The moment the director calls cut, he snaps out of character. With eight behind-the-scenes camera operators standing around, there's nothing for them to film.
The obscure actor goes from trying to get along with him to giving up entirely and spending all day fooling around with the other young actors.
The powerhouse is pleased at first. Then he gets a little annoyed, and eventually a little angry.
One time, the obscure actor is besieged by water guns from every direction and cries out for someone to save him. The powerhouse steps in to rescue him. From that moment on, the atmosphere on set changes. The behind-the-scenes crew finally has work to do, or rather, their workload increases dramatically.
The promotional behind-the-scenes clips released while the drama airs are even more outrageous. The obscure actor sits on the powerhouse's lap as the director explains the kissing scenes. Every time the director describes one, the powerhouse immediately kisses him, until the obscure actor's face is as red as a tomato.
The internet erupts in argument, with people accusing the powerhouse of sexual harassment. He's such a talented actor, so why does he have to kiss him so many times?
Before the powerhouse's studio can even send a lawyer's letter, the obscure actor speaks up himself:
I oppose workplace sexual harassment. I hope everyone can bravely say no. But I really did agree to this one [laughing through tears].
