Shi Yu: "Mm. Longer than you think. Since you were in college."

Gu Tangyun is surprised: "Then why didn't you confess sooner?"

Shi Yu's gaze burns: "I was afraid you wouldn't like me. Afraid you wouldn't cherish me once you had me."

Gu Tangyun pretends to be angry: "Then weren't you afraid I'd run away?"

Shi Yu rubs the tip of his nose against hers. "I was. That's why I went to so much trouble to keep you close."
