A spacetime turbulence erupts, and dimensional barriers collapse.
Yin Yongsheng, a contractor for a dimensional repair company, has a simple goal in life: save money, start a family, and live a quiet, stable life.
Unfortunately, his boss isn't human and keeps assigning him high-risk jobs:
- Open a blood coffin and release a thousand-year-old vampire, who treats him like a walking blood bank.
- Inspect a haunted house and run into a resentful ghost who makes him sign a ghost marriage contract for life.
The vampire licks his fangs. "Darling, you smell delicious."
The ghost appears with a mournful wail. "Wife, come down and keep me company..."
These nonhuman creatures with ulterior motives force their way into his home and turn it upside down.
Yin Yongsheng looks at his skyrocketing bills and falls silent. Unnecessary expenses have increased.
Getting killed is one thing. Having his savings wiped out is another.
After protesting to his unscrupulous boss to no avail, Yin Yongsheng draws a magic circle in the middle of the night to drive out demons and evil spirits, all in the hope of getting rid of these money-sucking nuisances.
The circle lights up, and the one it summons is the true form of the demon boss who's been undercover on the human side.
After three seconds of awkward eye contact, the golden-eyed demon smiles brightly. "Take off your clothes and kneel. I'll let you live."
Yin Yongsheng expressionlessly kicks him into the magic circle...
Get back in there! There's already too much clingy dead weight in my house!
The clingy pests refuse to leave. When they hear that his life goal is to "start a family," they launch into a vicious competition.
The vampire elegantly bares his fangs. "The blood pact takes precedence."
The ghost lowers his eyes, tears of blood running down his face. "My wife and I exchanged vows under heaven and earth. We are the true match."
The demon whips out a summoning contract. "Who he belongs to remains to be seen."
Yin Yongsheng has just borrowed a copy of the Civil Code when the nonhumans all turn their heads in unison. "Tell us! Who are you choosing?!"
Is there even anything to think about? Yin Yongsheng holds up the Civil Code. "Actually, marriage to a nonhuman isn't legal..."
Nonhumans, get out of my dating market.
