[Original Blurb]
Eight-year-old Kiyohara Mawa doesn't know what she wants, but by the time she's sixteen, she doesn't care anymore.
...Being alive is already hard enough, okay?!
So thought Kiyohara Mawa, tragically, after being knocked over by a volleyball for the nth time.
A story about an extremely detached person gradually finding meaning in life.
[The original felt too short, so here's the rewritten 2.0 version]
One day, some year, in the gym of some unknown (crossed out) high school in Tokyo.
Some coach: Who's the most perfect player in the whole world?
Some players: KI-YO-HA-RA MA-WA!
Some coach: Who knows everything from astronomy to geography?
Some players: KI-YO-HA-RA MA-WA!
Some coach: Who's both clever and hilarious?
Some players: KI-YO-HA-RA MA-WA!
Some coach: What should we say when we see her?
Some players: Mawa, Mawa, we love you!
Some coach: Woohoo!
Some players: Woohoo!!!
You: … (runs away at the speed of light)
[Highlights]
1. The main story is written in second person.
2. The protagonist is the Miyagi twins' younger cousin.
3. Slow burn, long timeline, lots of everyday life and match scenes. The story revolves around the protagonist and her circle, with occasional references to the main plot.
4. Characters from other series make guest appearances, but not often.
5. The protagonist is objectively “weird.” She played badminton in middle school and volleyball in high school. She's somewhat talented, but has no passion for either, and her future career has nothing to do with them.
6. For a better experience, check the author's notes. Setting details, bonus skits, and reading warnings for the next chapter will appear from time to time.
7. Everything belongs to Furudate-sensei. The original settings and out-of-character writing are mine.
8. This is, at its core, a product of me letting loose.
Theme: Isn't pursuing freedom only natural?
Can unqualified teachers stop being teachers? (Close eyes) Including Beichuan's No. 1 Coach, I think it's a big problem.
Such a transparent girl, I feel like it really fits the slogan of the Inarizaki volleyball team.
Growing pains are something you can't let go of. (I don't know what I'm mumbling about) I really felt suffocated after reading this chapter 😭 😭 😭 This is the pain of growing up 😭 😭
In fact, it doesn't seem to be a private design, after all, most fans agree that Ayu is the older brother.
There's even a cameo from a skateboarder! Is Xiaoyu's father a photographer by profession or does he specialize in photographing birds?

Free man [Gotou] I've felt this way since the first time I caught the ball [Gotou]
I just discovered that Qingyuan's birthday is actually April Fool's Day. The teacher has been more diligent these days.
Xiaoyu's high school volleyball life has begun!
Fight for volleyball, Xiaoyu!!!
