Yan Zhi was transferred to the Female Supporting Character Department. Her task was simple: play the girlfriend of a straight male lead in a danmei novel. That was all.
But by the end, the novel's top and bottom were fighting over her.
World One: The Straight Male Lead's Gold-Digging Girlfriend
This is a campus novel. The straight male lead is a military academy student, and Yan Zhi is his sweet, delicate girlfriend back in his hometown. Yan Zhi squeezes every last bit of money she can out of him. One day, when he doesn't send her any money, she goes to the military academy where he's studying.
At this point, the men who have a crush on him decide to teach this gold-digger a lesson.
World Two: The Straight Male Lead's Dutiful Girlfriend
This is a modern setting. The straight male lead is a high-paid office worker, and Yan Zhi is a housewife. One day, a tall teenage boy who claims to be the male lead's younger brother moves into their little home. He keeps fawning over the male lead, but treats Yan Zhi with hostility.
"Stay away from my brother!" the boy yells at Yan Zhi.
World Three: The Straight Male Lead's Fan Girlfriend
In this world, the straight male lead is a minor celebrity, and Yan Zhi is his non-celebrity girlfriend. To help him become famous, Yan Zhi lands him a role in a danmei drama, whose other lead has been secretly in love with him for a long time.
P.S.:
1. Check the subject matter for yourself before reading.
2. There's plenty of melodrama.
Premise: Love.
