Insect Exorcist

A seemingly gentle yet actually ruthless beauty on the receiving end × a loyal knight on the pursuing end 1v1, both leads are sexually inexperienced The insect race in this story consists of actual insects: humanoid monsters and winged abominations. The story switches to a paid chapter model starting from Chapter 22. If you've read that far, please take note When the insect race descended upon Earth, its larvae began parasitizing humans. Those who were infected transformed into insects, while those who developed antibodies awakened special abilities and became insect hunters. To save his mother, who had cancer, nursing aide Tang Shuying went to the hospital to steal insect eggs. Security guards shot him in the thigh, but at the last moment, the boss he cared for saved his life. “I can give you the insect eggs, but you have to swallow them with me.” The boss, badly burned, stared straight at Tang Shuying through the eyes visible beyond his bandages. “Have you heard of an ability called [Healing]? It can cure even cancer.” To save his mother, Tang Shuying swallowed the eggs alongside his boss, despite their mere one percent chance of awakening. He survived against all odds, only to discover that the ability he had awakened was the undocumented [Incubus]. The boss who had swallowed the eggs with him transformed into an insect and died. Tang Shuying concealed his real ability, [Incubus], from the Insect Hunter Association, falsely reporting it as [Charm] before officially joining. He painstakingly explored this embarrassing ability on his own, keeping a low profile as he grew stronger. To his surprise, he discovered that when someone he charmed died, their soul became a shadow and served him as a slave. Tang Shuying, now able to control souls: This is interesting. Boss: I faked my death. Tang Shuying: This hurts. I want to cry. So he made a doll of the “boss” and burned incense to it every day. Boss: Well, you didn't have to go that far... Content warnings: 1. The receiver keeps fish in a pond, then kills them. Literally. 2. The pursuer has also been killed by the receiver several times. Theme: Humanity must persevere and rely on its own strength.
