The bizarre world suddenly descends upon Earth. To survive, humanity is forced to take part in horror games. Everyone is on edge, including Cui Zhi, who isn't human.
Cui Zhi is one of the bizarre world's big bosses. He has a face that's been listed among the "Ten Most Beautiful Faces in the Bizarre World" year after year. Known as "Mister," he strikes terror into the hearts of countless entities. And he's fallen in love with... a weak human.
Cui Zhi is afraid his identity will be exposed, and worried about his lover's safety.
Having suffered enough from love, Cui Zhi decides he can't go on living in fear and suspense another day.
So he tries to change his lover's opinion of the bizarre.
Cui Zhi: Darling, what do you think of the bizarre?
Chu Qianshi: Not much, I guess.
Cui Zhi: Don't you think the bizarre can be good or bad?
Chu Qianshi: I... don't think so.
Cui Zhi (giving up): If I were one of them, would you still love me?
Chu Qianshi answers without hesitation: Of course I would.
Cui Zhi, touched: A Shi, if you were one of them, I'd still love you too.
Chu Qianshi (startled): Don't be ridiculous. I'm not one of them.
Cui Zhi: …
Cui Zhi is shattered. Cui Zhi has completely lost it.
He (struggling to hold back his twitching tentacles): …Right.
Faced with such a stubborn lover, Cui Zhi is forced to prepare to take the coercive route.
Chu Qianshi is very troubled.
His little human lover has been acting strangely lately, constantly talking about the bizarre. Before, he was terrified of them and wouldn't even say the word "bizarre."
So he asks his friends for advice. After laying out all his worries, they arrive at a conclusion:
