My new sweet romance, Love Letter Behind the Mist, is now underway. Could you add it to your favorites?~
Synopsis:
Liu Qian and a group of strangers get swept into a game world. It's just a game, right? Games are what he's best at.
"Damn, nobody said it was this kind of game!" Liu Qian yells as he runs, looking back at the monster hot on his heels.
Liu Qian never expected to become the brains of the player group. To be honest, he would quite like to abandon them and escape on his own. But sometimes, for reasons he can't explain, he just feels compelled to save them. He swears it isn't what he intended.
Before long, he becomes a god in the players' eyes, and they all start clinging to him for protection.
Really, his legs aren't that strong. No need to cling.

As the game goes on, Liu Qian comes under increasing pressure, and a second personality gradually emerges.
After the second personality, Liu Qian, appears and starts doing things, the NPCs know the world's end is coming. Have you ever seen a player chase down NPCs and beat them to a pulp? Have you ever seen a player scam another player out of money to buy their own life? Have you ever seen a player pretend to be an NPC and trick other NPCs?
Liu Qian has done all of that, and those things are only the tip of the iceberg for him...
The second personality knows every rule for clearing the game and every scenario. He has memories the original personality lacks, and his existence makes the game's creator feel threatened.

Later, Liu Qian realizes from the smallest details that everything in the game seems connected to him. Someone is trying to stop him from getting out.
NPC: "What do you think of the player Liu Qian?"
Player 1: "He's loyal. He brings us along every time he runs away."
Player 2: "His mouth is so vicious, he nearly insulted me to death."
Player 3: "He's a really, really good person."
Player 4: "You mean that guy who takes the answer sheet to do the test and then chases NPCs around trying to kill them? The scumbag who swindled me out of my money!"
The NPCs huddled together for warmth nod furiously.
Liu Qian comes up beside him, wearing a loving smile. "Sweetheart, there's a pit up ahead. Go step in it. I promise you'll die quickly."
Theme: Overcoming adversity.
