The inspiration came from an interesting idea I saw online: No wonder they look so much like someone from the past. It turns out that person never died. (It might get pretty melodramatic.)
"Have we met somewhere before?"
The setting is a xianxia world from a long time ago. But the streamer doesn't really want to write about things like the reasons behind forming a golden core, for the following reasons: first, it gets confusing; second, the streamer doesn't know how. That's right. There won't be any ascension scenes either. (The only ascender ever to leave a message said, "Mm... you... don't come up... mm... there's no oxygen up here." The ascender dies...) Practitioners can extend their lives in various ways, though. Otherwise, they'd all be dead by the time they finished meditating in seclusion and comprehended a cultivation technique...
Reader's notes
1. The story is basically about Mo Jueming, leader of the demonic cult, who fakes his death and goes into seclusion. Bored, he disguises himself and goes down the mountain, where he meets Gu Jiuyun, an old acquaintance he doesn't remember. The two then go off adventuring and solve various problems in the martial world. It might get a little unhinged.
2. The characters' values don't represent the author's own.
3. This is a fictional setting. Don't connect it to the real world, or you'll just get flamed.
4. Happy ending. Both leads are each other's one and only.
5. Don't fantasize about the characters, especially the pursuer and the one being pursued. Or you'll just get flamed...
6. I have to go to school, so updates may be irregular. Don't hit me. Yes, school is brutal...
7. Each installment may be a little short, but I'll try to make it longer, or update more often during holidays. And sorry about any shortcomings in my writing. I'll do my best. Please go easy on me, it's my first time writing a long novel.
