During the Wei, Jin, and Northern and Southern Dynasties, numerous small states divided the land and vied for power. Among them, the three leading powers were Beishuo, Nan Chu, and Xiao Qi.
Ming Jue was a princess of Nan Chu. As a child, Emperor Ming sent her to Mingyan Mountain, a secretive martial-arts organization, to learn the art of tea. Though it seemed she was studying tea, she was actually learning to kill with hidden weapons. Eight years later, when she returned home after completing her training, she discovered that the capital had fallen and all her family had been killed. She was forced to become a spy planted in Xiao Qi by the new emperor.
Adrift in the torrents of a chaotic age, she walked alone, apart from the world.
Then a young man who seemed like a frivolous playboy, but was full of schemes, charged into the turmoil all by himself. He offered her the most sincere heart and told her with a smile, "Don't be afraid. I'll take your hand and lead you through it."
Amid intrigue and political maneuvering, will she find a fleeting ray of moonlight?
