A raising-kids story, but it's about Dazai and Chuuya.
1. What if the puppy turns around and forgets me?
The wind is strong on the rooftop. Boss Dazai is worried sick.
He writes in the Book: I want Chuuya to remember me forever.
The Book: Got it!
"And that's how I was born!"
Great news: Boss Dazai and his number-one executive have had a beagle!
Now he doesn't have to jump off a building. He just has to look after the kid all day, every day.
2. Children are a parent's karma. Boss Dazai, who has done every kind of evil, has finally gotten what he deserves.
The Mafia prince is only four, but he thinks about usurping the throne every day!
Today he learns assassination techniques from his uncle; tomorrow, he goes to show filial devotion to the former boss at the orphanage.
His uncle Verlaine is eager to interfere in government and prop up the young ruler, while the retired emperor (?) Mori Ougai is beside himself with grief, regretting that little Chuuya wasn't born ten years earlier.
Many hands make light work. Just as they're about to pick an auspicious day for his coronation...
Little Chuuya keeps saying, "Father, you're old."
Unable to take it anymore, Boss Dazai orders his subordinate: "Go cut the young master's daily TV time down to ten minutes."
He signs his son up for two tutoring classes overnight and sends him to Hawaii!
Later...
Boss Dazai: "Has Chuuya learned his lesson?"
Subordinate: "Report! The young master learned to fly a plane in Hawaii!"
3. His son is far too filial. Unfortunately, his appearance is so deceptive that even the alternate version of himself next door is jealous.
Life-winner Gray Dazai tries to kidnap the fierce little puppy Chuuya: "What's this? A tiny puppy! I'm stealing him!"
Boss Dazai drops in with Chuuya: "Open the door! Hurry up and open the door!"
