The Immortal’s Rebellious Disciple

Xu Chansheng had a face so beautiful he could have been mistaken for a woman. He looked delicate and frail, but was actually ambitious, determined to rise to the top, bring glory to his family, and become a revered patriarch. He joined the Canghai Sect as a disciple of Venerable Jingyuan, honoring his master and diligently cultivating. Jingyuan’s old illness flared up again. He lay on his side in bed, his long hair trailing on the floor, his robe half open, his eyes alluring as silk. A cough aggravated his injuries, leaving his face as pale as paper. Xu Chan kept his eyes straight ahead as he held the medicine and fed it to him, one spoonful at a time. Jingyuan had been drugged with an aphrodisiac and curled up in an icy spring. His long lashes were dusted with frost, and his thin clothes clung to him, soaked through and revealing his broad chest and flushed neck. Xu Chan had been ordered to come help him, and never once overstepped his bounds. Suddenly, a hand grabbed his wrist and yanked him into the water. Jingyuan landed on top of him and kissed him. Xu Chan knew his master was not in his right mind, and, not wanting to jeopardize their master-disciple relationship or hinder his cultivation, he did not blame him. He just thought his master was truly beset by misfortune. Every day he was either injured and in need of care or poisoned and in need of treatment. He would go out and come back with barely a breath left, always weak or on his way to becoming weak. Every time, Xu Chan had to put aside his cultivation and come look after him. It was a real bother. Venerable Jingyuan, Fu Yunye, was unrivaled beneath the heavens, with few worthy opponents. He had only taken on a disciple to fulfill the sect’s expectations, and rarely bothered to teach him seriously. That was until he met Xu Chan. At first, Fu Yunye thought he had taken on the best disciple imaginable. The boy was obedient, compliant, self-motivated, steadfast in his Daoist heart, and destined for a bright future. But little by little, Fu Yunye began to feel that something was off. Something was wrong with him. A Jinjiang-style master × a Qidian-style disciple Flirtatious master × serious disciple Note: 1. I want to try writing a power fantasy. 2. Both are each other’s only one, one-on-one, happy ending. Fu Yunye, pronounced Ye. 3. Older man, older man, older man. The master is the top. Coming soon: “Failed to Become His Disciple, So I Took His Place” In the eighteenth year of being the least favored child in the Xu family, Xu Ming found Si Feixuan in distress. Si Feixuan was handsome and elegant, with an ethereal presence like an immortal from the clouds. He always looked at people with a hint of a smile, but his gaze was distant and detached. He was mysterious and could even perform magic. Xu Ming had no talent, only hard work. Under Si Feixuan’s tutelage, he trained his body and practiced swordsmanship every day, and naturally came to adore him. He used the money he earned copying books to buy Si Feixuan little trinkets, pastries, and candy figurines, and even painted his portrait by hand, all just to make him happy. Si Feixuan was thrown into disarray by Xu Ming’s advances, but pretended to stay calm. On a day when he was especially happy, he let Xu Ming make one request. Xu Ming: “I want to become your disciple! I want to honor you for the rest of my life.” Si Feixuan felt as though he had fallen into an icy chasm, and fled in a panic right in front of him. He never appeared again. Xu Ming was despondent for quite a while. To clear his head, he went with his family to attend the Si Xian Sect’s initiation ceremony. High above the platform, even higher than the sect leader’s seat, sat a man dressed in white. He was ethereal as an immortal, with a face like one, and an indifferent expression that suggested nothing could touch him. Xu Ming took a deep breath. “Si Feixuan!” He was actually the founder of the Si Xian Sect! So he had thought Xu Ming wasn’t good enough for him… In the vast training grounds, amid the clinking of cups and lively conversation, a young man with a dazzlingly beautiful face sat with his head bowed, seemingly in low spirits. The Xu family members beside him kept criticizing him. Si Feixuan’s hand, hidden inside his sleeve, tightened into a fist. He had thought that leaving the mortal world behind would bring him peace, but longing had burrowed into his bones and tormented his heart day after day. When he saw an elder from the outer sect standing before Xu Ming and picking at his every fault, Si Feixuan could no longer sit still. Coming soon: “After Another World Descended, He Became a God” He Du was the young master of the He family in the capital, left to fend for himself away from home. When he awakened an F-rank talent, he became the bottom student in the special abilities class at Capital First High School, a candidate for the future Special Abilities Association. His family, which had not contacted him in years, sent someone to bring him back to the He household. He Du had a sharp tongue and an abrasive personality. When he left the He family at ten, he had someone he liked in his heart. After entering the special abilities class, he ended up sitting next to that person. The more he liked them, the sharper his tongue became. Most classmates would have kept their distance, but for some reason, this deskmate just kept getting closer. Shan Luozhou was from another world. He enrolled in the special abilities class to learn about Earth. At first, he thought it would be nothing more than a boring diversion. Who knew he would meet such a cute deskmate? “Stay away from me.” “Just looking at you annoys me.” “You’re doing this worksheet for me.” “If you’re not eating that breakfast, I’ll have it.” “The outer perimeter is dangerous. You walk on the outside.” “You’re tall. Block the sun for me.” Shan Luozhou could smell the pleasant scent on him. It meant like, like, really like… He Du’s talent could open a gateway to another world. Keeping it secret from everyone, he leveled up as a nobody in that world, until one day he was shocked to discover that the leader of its most powerful faction had the same name as his deskmate. And looked exactly like him! Poised and magnanimous × arrogant and sharp-tongued Theme: In life, never abandon your lofty ambitions.
