Pursuing My Police Academy Classmates, Conan-Style

Manga artist Hanazawa Arikawa has recently fallen for someone at first sight. Just when he finally works up the courage to go and meet him, that person disappears.

While searching for him, Hanazawa Arikawa discovers that he seems to be inside the world of a manga, and that the person he has a crush on may have been drawn to death?!

After the production team is flamed online and forced to remake the manga, Hanazawa Arikawa goes back in time and meets that person at the age of twenty-two.

Scene 1:

"Furuya-kun, can I try one of your sandwiches?"

Hanazawa Arikawa gazes at Rei with eager eyes. He hasn't had a sandwich this delicious in a long time, not since being reborn.

"One of mine? Sure." Rei has never cooked before, and finds it a little difficult to agree when he sees how expectantly Hanazawa Arikawa is looking at him.

Scene 2:

After learning from the comments that Kenji will die at today's bombing, Hanazawa Arikawa anxiously searches for a possible suspect.

"Arikawa, come over. We caught the suspect." Rei calls him, even though they haven't been in touch since Rei started undercover training.

When Hanazawa Arikawa arrives, he sees the suspect trussed up and bruised, while Rei stands beside him, casually looking at his phone.

"How did you know he was the suspect?"

"I happened to see him acting suspicious." Rei turns away awkwardly.

Hanazawa Arikawa naturally doesn't believe that the always meticulous Rei would arrest someone so carelessly. But Kenji has safely defused the bomb, and the detonator found in the suspect's pocket proves that he's the real culprit.

Scene 3:

"Bourbon, your mission is to get close to Police Inspector Hanazawa Arikawa. Use the seduction tactics you're best at."

Sitting expressionlessly in Cafe Poirot, Amuro recalls the Organization's orders. Wasn't he supposed to get close to Kogoro Mouri in his previous life?

"Inspector Hanazawa, are you free tonight?" Amuro smiles at the man who used to pursue him.

"I'm busy." Hanazawa Arikawa gives him a perfunctory answer and gets up to leave Cafe Poirot.

Amuro frowns at his cold attitude. Hanazawa knows this is a mission, so why is he sulking?
