System 09 has seen it all. It's the star System of the Department of Saving Tragic Villains. With the story scripts in hand, it guides one Host after another to become a villain's guiding light: giving them money and love, being misunderstood and dragged into trouble, and eventually reaching a happy ending.
But lately, System 09 has hit one obstacle after another...
Because its Host doesn't want to save the villain. Instead, the Host married a monster!

He really was an ideal Host.
Powerful, rational, sternly handsome. With good and evil on opposite sides of the scales, he always held the right weight.
System believed that if it offered him the chance to save the world, he would surely complete the mission to save the villain.
However, the moment they met, this bound Host cut the villain down with an arrow.
In the hazy mist, he lowered his golden eyes and asked coolly, "Aren't monsters made to be killed?"

Love can easily grow from enmity.
System watched the pure-white figure in sacred robes in the corner and decided to choose him as its Host.
He readily agreed. Just as planned, he brought a demon seed out of the forbidden grounds, loved it, nurtured it, watched it struggle as it fell to darkness, and finally offered it to the church.
He was naturally good at lying.
He had once deceived a god.
