A sentimental, long-haired literary beauty bottom x arrogant tops
*
Jiang Suixun loves literature.
In his friends' words, he's a hopelessly pretentious artsy guy, the real deal, no exceptions.
He never lacked money or love, not from childhood to adulthood.
No one knew why he'd turned out this way.
Still, Jiang Suixun's parents were open-minded and never interfered with his interests. His friends indulged him, wishing they could pass themselves off as artsy too, just so Jiang Suixun would treat them as kindred spirits.
Jiang Suixun's life was just about perfect.
Until he was transported into a novel set at an elite academy, becoming an inconsequential side character who transferred to the school alongside the original bottom.
A side character? An elite academy? What was that?
Jiang Suixun never read that kind of story. He only read Hesse, Kafka, Coetzee, Tsvetaeva...

The untouchable rich kids at the elite academy looked down on the two newly transferred students from nouveau riche families. They mockingly bet on how many days it would take before the pair dropped out.
The teacher brought the new students into the classroom and asked them to introduce themselves.
Everyone's gaze was instantly captured by the young man who entered first.
His jet-black hair fell to his waist. His pale, delicate face wore a melancholy expression, and a fine chain hung from his gold-rimmed glasses. His Lemiare shirt accentuated his slender waist, which looked small enough to fit in one's hands.
Jiang Suixun paid no attention to the rich kids staring blankly at him. With a faint smile, he introduced himself in a gentle voice: "Jiang Suixun. I like literature, and I hope to meet people who share my interests."
The rich kids exchanged glances, their minds racing, while keeping their disdainful, superior expressions.
Without a word, they agreed that this frail, melancholy transfer student wouldn't last three days.

After a year at the school, Jiang Suixun realized it was incredibly boring. His classmates talked endlessly about companies, risk management, money, and other vulgar things. No one could resonate with his soul.
Jiang Suixun was going home.
The day after Jiang Suixun submitted his transfer application,
the calm campus suddenly became rife with undercurrents.
The rich kids took the love letters Jiang Suixun had written and cornered him in the restroom, their eyes red as they demanded to know why he was leaving without a word, without taking responsibility.
Their voices were cold and sinister. "You messed with us and think you can just walk away?"
Jiang Suixun didn't even notice their murderous, almost crazed expressions. He was focused solely on the neat page and the beautiful handwriting he'd left there.
"There remains in my soul a place waiting for a divine message/For this I thank you."
He couldn't help but marvel. Even after reading it again, Hesse's poem still moved him so deeply.
Note:
The line is quoted from Hesse.
Theme: Literature is a cradle of love
