[My upcoming novel, Marrying into a Perfect Match, is looking for favorites. Blurb at the very bottom (^з^)]
Radiant, free-spirited actress x aloof, reserved, sickly and sinister doctor
Reunion from the start / rekindled love / intense push and pull / both have only ever been with each other
*
When Ren Xiaoyu was seventeen, a cool, strikingly slender transfer student with excellent grades arrived in the class next door. He received countless love letters, but no one could win him over.
He became the unattainable dream boy of every girl at No. 2 High School.
Ren Xiaoyu refused to believe he was out of reach.
Her grades were average, but she was dazzlingly beautiful, with a pair of captivating peach-blossom eyes. She was the school's undisputed belle.
She deliberately waited until it was his turn to stay after school and clean the classroom. Sitting on a desk, she swung her slender, fair legs beneath her white skirt, drawing the eye. A lollipop between her lips, she stretched out a leg to block his way.
"Hey, want to date?"
The boy's short-sleeved shirt had been washed pale, revealing the elegant line of his throat. His features were cool and distant, his bearing clean and refined, his dark eyes indifferent.
His gaze swept over her flawless, smooth calves. He turned away without expression, but the tips of his ears flushed pink. "Go play with someone else."

Ren Xiaoyu had always considered herself carefree and charming. Even after becoming a top-tier actress and working with countless handsome actors, she had never fallen for anyone, until she ran into Cheng Jin again.
The man wore a white coat over an impeccably neat shirt. Gold-rimmed glasses rested on his straight nose, framing his cold, handsome eyes. Refined and unrestrained, he examined her as a matter of routine without saying another word.
She frowned in dissatisfaction. "Hey, why are you pretending not to know me?"
Cheng Jin left the hospital room without looking back. The moment the door closed, a turbulent darkness flooded his eyes. The disinfectant glove in his fist twisted out of shape.
*
After a celebratory banquet, Ren Xiaoyu got drunk and wandered into Cheng Jin's home by mistake, where she unexpectedly saw a side of him he never showed anyone.
In a dim, cramped storage room, her photographs were arranged in neat rows across the walls, spanning ten years. There was also a figurine modeled after her, trapped and bound in place.
Ren Xiaoyu was stunned.
"Scared?"
A cool, unhurried voice came from behind her, making her jump.
The man locked the door. Like a devil crawling out of hell, he advanced on her step by step.
Ren Xiaoyu's face went deathly pale. There was nowhere to run.
Cheng Jin took her slender, fair hand and calmly wiped it clean with a towel. At last, he produced a ring and slid it onto her ring finger.
His eyes were pitch-black, his voice low. "You can take it off only after I'm dead."
P.S.
The heroine's name is Ren Xiao-yu. The first character is pronounced like the first syllable of "school," and the second is pronounced yu.
Neither lead is perfect. They both have their flaws, so please click away if that bothers you.

[Coming soon: Marrying into a Perfect Match]
Long-planned scheme | rekindled love | a powerful, abstinent man loses control
Xie Lansheng, heir to the Xie family of the capital, has always been cold and unfeeling, with a ruthless way of doing things. He is famous for having no interest in women.
At several matchmaking banquets, his friends watched the women leave in tears.
This time was no different.
Especially since Wen Yi was nearly blind.
Wen Yi had suddenly developed keratitis.
Her vision had deteriorated so badly that she could barely tell people from animals beyond a meter away.
But she still remembered what she had heard about the man: he was a notorious playboy who changed women more often than clothes.
She didn't want to get dragged into trouble, so she sighed softly.
"Mr. Shen, actually... I'm already pregnant.
I can't find the father, so the Wen family wants you to take the blame."
She retched twice, then continued.
"I know the Shen family could never accept someone like me. Sorry for wasting your time."
Xie Lansheng fixed his deep, inscrutable gaze on her.
Like a spider spinning its web around prey, his voice was so low and heavy it was almost hoarse.
"Who says I can't accept you?"
Wen Yi was just about to leave when her body suddenly stiffened.
-
After they married, Wen Yi deliberately kept her distance from her husband.
The reason was simple: she was afraid the Shen guy's wild ways would leave her with an illness.
She even secretly stashed the things he gave her in the storage room.
Only on the day her eyesight returned did Wen Yi discover that her new husband wasn't Mr. Shen at all. He was Xie Lansheng.
The ex-boyfriend she'd once dumped without warning.
Wen Yi panicked and tried to run.
-
In the early hours after the acquisition deal was finalized, Xie Lansheng came home, exhausted and chilled to the bone.
He saw Wen Yi sneaking downstairs with a suitcase.
That night,
the suitcase tumbled down the stairs, and Wen Yi was forced into the bedroom.
Xie Lansheng tugged off his tie with one hand. His long fingers, veins standing out, unfastened his buttons one by one as he advanced toward her.
Through her tinted sunglasses, Wen Yi saw the dark, oppressive depths of his eyes, like a perilous abyss.
Her heart pounded. "Calm down... Just calm down."
Xie Lansheng gripped her chin, his icy thumb rubbing against her skin.
"I'm perfectly calm. But Wen Yi, when you marry me, Xie Lansheng, we share a bed in life and a grave in death."
Theme: Sincerity deserves sincerity.
Come on, keep up the good work~It's so pretty~??
The author should update it quickly. It's not enough.
[Orange candy] I got it [Orange candy] I got it [Orange candy] I got it
[Orange candy] I got it [Orange candy] I got it [Orange candy] I got it
Ten chapters updated a day!!!!! [Orange Candy] Got it
What a surprise! The author's writing is good, the male and female protagonists have great sexual tension 😍, but the plot is a bit cliche.
