A high school student wakes up after transmigrating to ancient times, in the body of Shen Youke, an overlooked young lady of the Shen family. After scraping by for three years, Shen Youke finally seizes her chance at a flower-viewing banquet and befriends Chu Yunruo, a princess who has just been found and brought back by the emperor.
Shen Youke was only looking for a lifeline, but instead she found the strongest protection in the Kingdom of Yang. As she spends time with Chu Yunruo, Shen Youke falls deeper and deeper. Just as she decides to let go, thinking their relationship is too much like a dream, she discovers that Chu Yunruo has been watching her quietly for a long time.
