The Crown Prince's Hound

Tsundere Psycho (Powerful Minister) VS Naturally Sly (Deposed Crown Prince)

Xie Guanlan transmigrated into a scenario set against the history of the Great Qian dynasty. As an NPC, he lived like a nobody, waiting only for the chance to turn the plot around and defy fate by dying.

Until Li Miao appeared. Suddenly, he didn't want to die so much anymore. He decided someone else deserved to die.

Then Li Miao died.

And Xie Guanlan went mad.

He transformed into the Chancellor's prized disciple, a rising star at court and a ruthless official feared by all. Though he seemed like a puppet on strings, he was actually pulling them, controlling everything and turning the tide at will.

Before meeting Li Miao again, Xie Guanlan thought every day about either killing himself or killing someone else. Either way, someone had to die. After meeting Li Miao again, all he wanted was to get together with Li Miao, and make money to support him.

And so the most powerful minister in the entire court, and the greatest money-grubber, was born.

What did he want to do after becoming a powerful minister?

His heartfelt answer: Be Li Miao's dog.

Li Miao, tied up like a dumpling: ...Big brother, could you untie me first?

This is the story of a pair of rivals who can't tell who's the S and who's the M.

In his previous life, Li Miao was the crown prince, with an awesome father and a mother with cheat-level abilities. And yet he was still killed in the struggle at court, setting off a glitch-filled new life. Reborn as an insignificant nobody, he just wanted to lie flat and be a lazy fish.

Who knew his nemesis, Xie Guanlan, would drop out of the sky? He ran, then ran again, but no matter what, he couldn't escape Xie Guanlan's grasp.

Li Miao became a living immortal who spread heretical nonsense, because Xie Guanlan forced him to.

Li Miao became a treacherous minister who schemed at every turn, because Xie Guanlan forced him to.

Don't ask. The only answer is that Xie Guanlan no longer wanted to be human.

Historical records say that during the Jing'an era of the Qian dynasty, Crown Prince Li Miao was benevolent, wise, and talented, and greatly favored by the emperor. Everyone knew that he and Xie Ting, heir to the Marquis of Wu'an, shared the same ideals and were sworn brothers.

Only Xie Guanlan, an NPC, knew that they were a pair of gay men.

Yet in the eighteenth year of Jing'an, Li Miao was deposed and executed for witchcraft and treason. The entire Xie clan, the family of the Marquis of Wu'an and his accomplices, were sentenced to death.

Xie Guanlan knew it was time for him to make his entrance.

In the twenty-fifth year of Jing'an, the emperor prohibited divination and occult arts, and the mystics disappeared from the land.

Xie Guanlan was sent on an imperial mission when the person who haunted his dreams suddenly rushed out and clung to his leg.

"My lord, your prominent brow and sinister eyes make you look like a lone star doomed by fate. I'll lay down my life to help you defy heaven and change your destiny!"

Xie Guanlan smiled. "Excellent. So you're the one who deserves to die."
