A Summer Night with You (A Love Across Borders)

An idea for a new series struck me in the middle of the night while I was watching a hot-guy compilation: romantic encounters with handsome guys from around the world, hehe! First up, the Nordics are making a grand entrance!

Unemployed, heartbroken, unlucky office drone vs. financially free, winner-at-life Nordic prince

A Chinese person meets a real Nordic person on WeChat. In the middle of a terrible summer night, Yu Xiaye encounters a spoiled young man born with a silver spoon in his mouth, who has never known hardship.

Her project gets stolen, her boyfriend cheats, and she gets cheated out of her severance pay. In her unlucky zodiac year, Yu Xiaye desperately needs to visit Yonghe Temple and pray. She wishes for wealth, a handsome guy, and good luck, but ends up in a car accident as soon as she steps outside. The driver is a bona fide blond, blue-eyed hunk, but the first thing he says is, "Hey, can't you watch where you're going?"

The traffic police settle things, and the compensation for her medical bills just happens to match the severance pay she lost.

Yonghe Temple has some tricks up its sleeve. Even if her wishes got mixed up, she still got a windfall and a handsome guy.

All that's left is good luck!

But... hey, blondie, are you really a Norwegian prince? You're not one of those gay princes from Young Royals, are you?

Felix: Summer, you still haven't paid me back for the money you conned out of me. I'm going home. If you don't pay up, you'll have to sell yourself.

Yu Xiaye: Damn foreigner! Aren't you an aristocrat? Why are you so stingy?
