A bloody case involving the murder of his master sends a young man out into the world. The jianghu is completely unfamiliar to him. All he wants is to quietly find his master's killer and secretly bring them to justice. But he's too eager to meddle in other people's business, and soon he finds himself tangled in a host of troubles. At every step, others lead him astray until he is nearly driven into a dead end. Only then does he realize that the jianghu isn't a place where he can do whatever he likes. To find a foothold, he must truly enter the game.
Thus begins a tale of grudges, love, and hate in the jianghu.
