Hot-tempered, narcissistic bottom (Xie Yi) x frigid, hypercompetitive top (Yi Ci)
Blurb:
When Xie Yi was a child, there was a luxurious villa across the street from his home. He heard that a new neighbor had moved in, and that a very rich young master lived there.
Richer than his own family.
One night, driven by curiosity, he climbed over the wall and into the villa.
He had imagined a warm, happy family, but the place was cold and dull.
That was the first time he met Yi Ci.
Once they got to know each other, they went to and from school together and became close friends.
Whenever he introduced Yi Ci to someone, Xie Yi would always smile and say:
"This is my childhood friend."
Later,
Xie Yi got into an argument with someone at school and accidentally dragged Yi Ci into it.
When Yi's father heard about it, he flew into a rage, took Yi Ci back to the old family home, and confined him there. Xie Yi didn't see him again for more than half a year.
It wasn't until Xie Yi earned a place in the national competition
that the two were able to meet again. They competed together and won a brilliant victory.
Then came gossip and rumors from every direction.
Deep in a low point, Xie Yi was distracted and out of sorts every day. Yi Ci came up and covered his ears, saying:
"Don't listen, don't look, don't think."
Xie Yi raised his eyes.
"You have too much pride to be held back by gossip and the world's judgment. So just go ahead and do what you want."
He will stand behind you, shielding you from the wind and rain, praying for your safety and warding off misfortune.
So don't be afraid. Everything that's yours will come to you.

1. This is all made up, so please don't draw parallels to real life.
2. The entire first volume was drafted as of February 20, 2023. I'll fill in the rest of the second volume later.
