Playing the Wife, Surrounded by the Supernatural [Infinite]

Yan Ming is in a car accident and dies unexpectedly. To prolong his life, he enters a death game.

The good news is that his talent skill lets him save and reload, giving him a huge advantage here.

The bad news is that every time he enters an instance, he draws a character with close ties to the horrors inside, such as... a wife.

Yan Ming must survive by playing along with the horrors while uncovering their secrets and clearing each instance.

Instance One: The newlywed husband has died, and Yan Ming plays the male spouse he just married.

At the funeral, Yan Ming wears plain clothes. His small, pale face makes him look frail and harmless.

Players have only seven days in this instance. Once the time is up, the husband will return from the dead and go on a killing spree.

Before then, players must uncover the truth behind his death and help him get revenge.

There are three suspects.

The first is his younger brother.

As the only two male heirs to the family business, and sons of different mothers, they have always been fierce rivals.

Qin Shu has always outshone Qin Yue, in both academic results and ability.

Qin Yue has held a grudge against Qin Shu for years.

Qin Shu is set to officially take over as CEO next month. Qin Yue has every reason to kill him for the position of heir.

The second is Wen Yu.

He is an admirer of Qin Shu.

Wen Yu is the son of the driver for the Qin family. He grew up alongside Qin Shu, has a gentle disposition, and has secretly loved him for years.

But he is also extreme. He has slit his wrists and jumped from a building in pursuit of Qin Shu, yet Qin Shu has never liked him.

The day before Qin Shu died, Wen Yu sent him a text: "Brother, if I can't have you, then you might as well disappear."

He could very well have killed Qin Shu out of love turned to hate.

The third is a serial killer.

A vicious serial killer has recently emerged in the city. He has antisocial tendencies and likes killing on impulse.

He kills according to his mood, with no logic to his crimes.

He has been arrested, but he has a mental illness. Without conclusive evidence, he may well be acquitted.

The players must uncover the truth hidden among these suspects to dispel Qin Shu's resentment.

In the normal course of play, players use questioning, searching, and other methods to piece together the truth without triggering the suspects' violent tendencies.

But for Yan Ming, things seem a little different.

While Yan Ming was distracted at the funeral, Qin Yue quietly walked up and offered him a tissue. His voice was icy. "Sister-in-law, my brother has passed away. By our family's customs, everything that belonged to him is mine... including you."

Qin Yue leaned close to Yan Ming's ear, his breath hot and his voice soft. "You should marry me."

After finally getting away from Qin Yue, Yan Ming went to the Qin family mansion to look for clues. Wen Yu cornered him between the wall and his outstretched arms.

Wen Yu was a head shorter than Yan Ming, but his manner was domineering. He leaned close to Yan Ming's neck, inhaling the lovely scent clinging to him with rapturous devotion.

Wen Yu's face flushed, his gaze unfocused. "Your scent is impossible to forget."

As he spoke, his lips pressed straight against the delicate skin of Yan Ming's neck.

Before Yan Ming could react, Wen Yu gave a soft suck, leaving an intimate red mark.

Yan Ming went to the mental hospital to look for clues and found the serial killer.

Through the glass, before Yan Ming could even ask a question, the killer slammed into it with a deafening bang.

The killer's eyes were bloodshot as he stared at Yan Ming with burning, desperate longing.

He muttered, "My muse... I've finally found you..."

As the instance's countdown drew closer, Yan Ming still felt that he was one step short of uncovering the truth.

On the night of the sixth day, while he was bathing, Yan Ming suddenly felt a chill approaching him.

He was about to turn around when something covered his mouth and nose.

An inexplicable force gripped his waist and pinned him against the cold, wet bathroom wall.

A chilling breeze whispered in his ear, as if forming the words, "Wife, I hear you're quite the flirt?"

At the same time, the hand on Yan Ming's waist tightened, and he was suddenly met with a deep kiss.
