Midsummer Night

A short story, an indulgence piece, first person.

["The moon beneath the sea is the moon in the sky; the person before me is the one in my heart."

A new neighbor moved in across from my home.

I fell for him. Maybe it was today, maybe yesterday, maybe some other time. I don't know.

Later, I heard him say he liked me too.

He had, for a long time."]

The whole story has been revised. Happy ending, complete.
