A Record of a Rusty Lake Game's Gotham Crossover

One day, a curious invitation appeared on Hua Ji's phone: "Want to experience the fun of a Rusty Lake and Gotham crossover? Limited beta access, first come, first served."

Hua Ji (cheerfully): "I'm not very familiar with DC, but if it's crossing over with a game as niche as Rusty Lake, it must be something special. So I definitely have to give this game a try and see what it's like."

And so...

AI Customer Service: "Due to the lack of a 'mother' character in Gotham, please select an NPC to serve as the operating character."

Hua Ji hits random selection.

"Wow, they're smiling at me." Hua Ji exclaims at a certain green-haired, red-lipped character.

AI Customer Service: Emits a piercing shriek.

...Wait, is this right?

Content Warning: The characters may be OOC due to the author's writing. If you can't accept that, you can just think of them as wearing character skins.

Written for love. I feel like there are so few Rusty Lake stories.

The story may be short, though the wait could be long. It depends on the author's progress through the Rusty Lake games, and how much they're lying flat.

Each time, the player's original character, or their character card, may be a little different. The details will follow wherever the author's imagination takes them.

Theme: There is genuine warmth in the world.
