He is not as opulent as a peony, yet possesses its splendor; not as pure and crisp as a snow lotus, yet possesses its clarity; not as proud as a winter plum, yet possesses its hauteur... People often say women are like flowers, but this man, too, had the kind of presence that stood alone among flowers, making them all bow their heads. Unparalleled grace, grace beyond compare. My eyes narrowed, my heart was lost, and I remembered only his name. Miyazaki Yao Si. So perhaps falling in love with Yao Si was only natural. Sometimes I wonder what kind of Miyazaki Yao Si I really want to write. I want to write a Yao Si who makes Ito Shin regret everything, a Yao Si readers can't bear to look away from, a Yao Si whose effortless grace is beyond compare, and... a Yao Si who is happy.
