Historical Romance
Naive, proud young swordsman x upright sect leader
Everyone in Xunyang City knows that the Cui family's young master loves standing up for what's right. When Old Wang at the street corner loses a chicken or Auntie Li at the end of the alley gets shaken down, anyone facing an injustice need only knock three times on the brass ring at the back entrance of the Cui residence. Before long, Young Master Cui will poke his head out and come to the rescue.
The master of the Cui household is going gray with worry over his son, who spends his days chasing chickens and teasing dogs instead of doing anything useful.
One day, in some year and month, Young Master Cui fled on a donkey, leaving behind a letter declaring that he had long yearned for the jianghu and was off to see it, so there was no need to worry. His father cried out in despair and nearly fainted, while Madam Cui hurriedly sent a letter to an acquaintance asking for help.
This is not a short story. The series author still hasn't figured out how to change that.
I'm building up a stockpile of chapters. Work has been pretty busy, and I don't dare start posting until I've saved up enough. Sorry, everyone.
This will be the next book I work on.
It's a humorous, lighthearted read, so don't overthink it~
