My Archrival and I Met and Fell in Love, Yet Never Truly Knew Each Other

Coming soon: Snatch Some Merit to Pay Off My Debts

The Heavenly Secret Realm is a place even the gods cannot enter.

Everyone knows the Void Realm is as beautiful as a fairyland. Few know it began as chaos, before life arose within the secret realm and spiritual cultivation became its way of life.

As the master of the Void Realm, Nan Yao spent millions of years there alone. She rebuilt the realm with divine and spiritual power to protect the demons within.

A thousand years ago, the High God tried to revive his beloved, sacrificing Kunlun in the process. The three realms of Kunlun joined forces to thwart his plan and destroy his divine nature. The High God fell, his soul was extinguished, and the three realms were left greatly weakened.

Nan Yao was gravely wounded, fell back into the Void, and sank into a deep sleep.

Without the master of the Void Realm to keep it in check, cracks appeared in the Void, and the seals of the Demon-Prison weakened.

With no one to manage them, the demons of the Void fell into chaos. Evil demons escaped and wreaked havoc in the human world.

Nan Yao was forcibly awakened and entered the human realm to capture demons.

As the evil demons were rounded up, Nan Yao gradually regained her strength, and the High God's plot came to light.

It turned out that what the gods called love was merely a pretext for the injustice of the Heavenly Dao and the gods' selfish desires.

Once again, the three realms became pawns in a game between a fallen god and the Heavenly Dao.

"If none of you care for all living things, then I'll overturn this Heavenly Dao and destroy the throne of the gods."

At first, Nan Yao entered the human realm with only two goals:

First: Capture demons.

Second: Repair the Demon-Prison.

Later, after meeting Lu Yu, Nan Yao gained another goal.

First: Capture demons.

Second: Repair the Demon-Prison.

Third: Keep Lu Yu, this walking source of spiritual power, all to herself so she can lie flat.

But later, he asked her, "Do you want spiritual power, or do you want me?"

How could she possibly need to choose?

Who would want him without spiritual power?

But without him, she wouldn't have any spiritual power either, so she supposed she could make an exception and take both.

But who could have told her

that he would go from being a walking source of spiritual power to her thousand-year-old archenemy?

How was she supposed to keep this romance going?

The first time Lu Yu saw Nan Yao, he thought she looked weak.

Then he saw her capture demons. Hmm, strong.

Later, it turned out she really did love him deeply. He supposed he could graciously accept.

At last, after learning the truth, he thought:

She loves spiritual power. He has spiritual power. So she loves him. Makes perfect sense.

A thousand-year-old archenemy?

No problem. The person she was his enemy a thousand years ago was the old her, not the her of today.

In conclusion, they could still keep dating.
