Exes, Out!

[A story about two decent, passionate, ordinary people falling in sweet, ordinary love.] Few people are better qualified than Fang Tian to discuss just how bumpy a person’s love life can be. He’s only been in two relationships in his life. First, he dated a straight guy who was eager to experiment and loved manipulating his partners. Then he found himself with a gentle, accomplished, understanding, considerate, patient, handsome boyfriend who was brilliant both emotionally and intellectually. The sheer difference between those two experiences always leaves Fang Tian feeling as though he’s lived two lifetimes in a very short span. … Liu Lingzhou’s had a crush for two years on the top student who lives next door. Recently, the guy became single again. His whole demeanor has taken a nosedive. He’s become gloomy and insecure, nothing like the person he was before the relationship. And even after all that, his ex still thinks they can get back together. Since the guy works at Liu Lingzhou’s company, Liu decides to take advantage of the proximity and make sure his ex doesn’t get even the tiniest opening. One-line summary: How can being in love be the same with everyone? Bottom: Fang Tian, daring and earnest in love, but starved for affection and badly hurt. Top: Liu Lingzhou, confident and carefree, gentle with Fang Tian and determined to help him heal. [A few disclaimers] - The ex is just a plot device. The focus is on the new boyfriend. - Sweet, mutually doting, and gently healing. - The career storyline is entirely fictionalized, with plenty of exaggeration and dramatic embellishment. In short, it’s made up, so please don’t compare it to real life. - The story has both characters’ perspectives, so you could call it dual POV. Theme: Treat people sincerely and work hard.
