Hounded by a Dark, Unhinged Beauty and Female Powerhouse

[Spicy, Unrestrained Older Woman x Stunning, Brooding, Sweet-on-the-Outside-and-Black-Hearted Beauty]

Yan Yan transmigrated into a book and became a wisp of "inner demon" inside the body of Bo Siyun, the chosen daughter of heaven in the original novel.

According to the original story, she was supposed to accompany Bo Siyun through countless trials, then serve as a stepping stone as Bo Siyun "slays her inner demon and proves her Dao."

Yan Yan originally only wanted to watch from the sidelines and be a good spectator, until...

She saw with her own eyes the peerless prodigy who should have stood above the heavens cast aside like trash, her spiritual roots forcibly destroyed, and her bloodied body tumbling into the mire.

The short-tempered inner demon finally snapped. Right there in Bo Siyun's sea of consciousness, she flipped the table:

"Bo Siyun, get up! Who said you could kneel?!"

From then on, from the depths of despair to the pinnacle of power, two lonely souls clawed at each other and clung together on their long road to immortality.

On the day Bo Siyun slew her inner demon and proved her Dao, Yan Yan kept her promise and shattered her soul, dying in Bo Siyun's warmest embrace. Smiling, she scattered into ash as Bo Siyun cried out in anguish.

Before she faded away, she gently wiped the blood and tears from Bo Siyun's face.

"Bo Siyun, in this life, your name has shaken the world. I suppose... my work is done, too."

Yan Yan thought it was a perfect farewell and release.

Until years later, when the void shattered and the Nine Netherworlds turned upside down, a soul-chain with the power to destroy heaven and earth forcibly dragged her back!

The Immortal Venerable who had shaken the heavens and should have perfected the Ruthless Dao now held her tightly, eyes blood-red, arms so strong they seemed ready to press her into her very bones.

Trembling, Bo Siyun kissed the astonishment from her lips. Her voice was hoarse and obsessive, utterly mad:

"All cultivators under heaven slay their inner demons."

"But I will defy heaven! I will feed myself to the demon!"

"A Yan, in heaven or on earth, don't ever leave me again."
