Synopsis
Yun Xian died in an apocalypse where resources were scarce. When she opened her eyes, she had transmigrated into a book set in a bygone era and become a villainess with the same name.
Good news: She knew how the plot would go.
Bad news: The male lead had locked her in a cowshed, where her "former husband," future big shot Wen Xiao, lay unconscious beside her after she had just "set him up."
According to the original plot, people would find them the next morning, forcing her to marry Wen Xiao, whose family background was considered undesirable. She would then cause trouble at every turn and eventually spend the rest of her life in prison.
As for Wen Xiao, he would become filthy rich after the reforms and opening-up.
Yun Xian looked at the handsome man beside her, who had exhausted himself into unconsciousness, kicked open the wooden door, and said something shocking:
"Stop sleeping! Get up and marry me! We'll register tomorrow!"
Wen Xiao: This woman's so strong. Why didn't she run away earlier? And anyway, which one of us is responsible for the other???
But though Yun Xian had only planned to cling to his coattails, she gradually realized that her former husband blushed far too easily, and teasing him was addictive.
And also...
They agreed to be roommates, so why did he keep crawling into her bed in the middle of the night?
They agreed they could divorce at any time, so why was he asking her with red eyes, "Are you going to abandon your husband and child?"
Yun Xian: ...What child? Weren't you the one who said we shouldn't have one yet?
Wen Xiao (quietly doubling down): I want one now!
[Clearheaded, practical apocalypse survivor who transmigrates into a book x handsome, tragic, devoted former husband]

The Villainess in a Period Novel Wants to Take It Easy Too
After transmigrating into a book, Lin Tingyue became the villainess who loved the male lead without being loved in return.
Wait, the original owner ate so poorly. She spent Lin Tingyue's money while keeping her on the hook. Was she running a charity? If she was, couldn't she at least pick someone better-looking? So Lin Tingyue grabbed the handsome man beside her, who was clearly leagues above the male lead, and turned to leave.
Lin Tingyue: I need a certificate! I need to get married! It's urgent!
Village chief: Are you crazy? Don't you know Yu Xingzhou has a bad family background?
Yes, everyone laughed at her for being crazy.
Yu Xingzhou had a bad family background, was useless at work, and had nothing but his good looks.
But he was the future richest man, and this was the perfect time to invest in him while his value was low!

For the past few years, Yu Xingzhou had always thought his luck had run out, and that was why the people closest to him kept leaving one after another.
So when he married Lin Tingyue, whose reputation was poor and who had once set him up, he felt nothing. He was sure she'd leave him sooner or later.
But Lin Tingyue not only stayed, their life together grew better and better.
Until he accidentally heard his mother-in-law urging his wife to divorce and remarry. He knew his luck had run out again. It was time to let her go.
The next day, he left quietly and sat in the waiting room for the train back to his hometown.
Just as the train was about to leave, Lin Tingyue appeared.
"Why didn't you tell me you were going home?"
Though it was still early spring, her forehead was drenched in sweat. It ran across her eyes and dripped from her chin.
He changed his mind.
From that moment on, he would never let go again.

[Extra Scene 1]
After news spread that the college entrance exams would be reinstated, the village's educated youths began talking about divorce, and soon the trend reached their home.
Some people who were planning to divorce even tried to persuade Yu Xingzhou: You two don't even have a child. How are you going to keep your wife's heart?
Yu Xingzhou only smiled. These people didn't understand. He was relying on his good looks.
But that night, he still couldn't help testing her.
His long fingers tightened around the woman's waist. His expression crumpled, and his voice trembled:
"You said you'd take me with you. Do you still mean it?"
[Extra Scene 2]
Lin Tingyue occasionally visited the film sets she'd invested in, but she was really just going through the motions.
However, a young leading man developed feelings he shouldn't have. He followed her around and was extremely attentive, his bright smile almost dazzling.
At the evening banquet, he blushed and raised his wineglass to approach her.
But before he could say a word, a commotion broke out in the distance:
"Look! It's Yu Xingzhou! Ahhh, I finally get to see the Best Actor in person!"
"Is he really forty? He looks younger than guys in their twenties!"
"Wait, aren't the Best Actor and his wife on bad terms? Why would he suddenly come here...?"
Yu Xingzhou walked straight through the crowd to his wife, put an arm around her waist, and gazed at her with those eyes that could make even a dog feel cherished.
"Didn't we agree you'd come pick me up after my awards ceremony?"
Oh no, she'd forgotten.
Lin Tingyue rubbed her forehead helplessly. She should have known better than to come to this film set. Heaven knew how hard this jealous man was to appease...
[Bold, straightforward, lucky heroine x beautiful male lead who's gentle on the outside but strong within]
[Both leads are sexually inexperienced / Marriage first, love later / Not a powerful heroine, not a female-dominant story]
Theme: Even in adversity, you can find a way through.
