Story One: The Reaper's Scythe
A ship crossing the Atlantic. The deck.
I was enjoying the sea breeze when my sister behind me suddenly pushed me into the depths!
Beneath the sea, the ocean turned into a blood-drenched desert. The eyes of broken weapons rolled in every direction. A smoky haze of russet and pine green sang a funeral dirge. Skeletons gnawed on rotting flesh, corpses floated everywhere, vodka ran in torrents, and a cactus leaned against a pitch-black scythe. A one-mouthed flower climbed onto the dining table and opened its cavernous maw. At the table sat a group of oblivious elites, chatting merrily as they sailed away from the Atlantic.
At last, I escaped that hellhole. When I returned to the deck, I saw countless corpses floating in the water.
And my sister was weeping bitterly in front of our mother.
I said nothing.
I alone knew that this cruise ship's destination lay at the end of the dining table.
God said: Stay here with me.

Story Two: The Child-Giving Immortal
At midnight, the wind howled and the candle burned low.
"Offer pomegranates to the east, longevity peaches to the west, grapes to the south..." The bride sang softly, while the baby girl beside her slept on.
Three knocks sounded at the door.
The bride suddenly dropped to her knees and bowed.
An elderly voice came from outside: "What do you seek?"
"I... I only ask for a baby boy! Please, Child-Giving Immortal, grant my wish!"
Three days later, Magistrate Xiao of West City announced the happy news that his new bride had given birth to a baby boy.
And at a burial ground a hundred li away, a baby's skin had been left behind.
