[Gentle, steadfast, beloved senior sister x genius junior sister with a shattered Daoist heart and possessive tendencies x rakish, sickly beauty of a master]
Jian Chengyu was the orphaned daughter of a demoness, and no one had ever liked her.
Her clothes came from a mass grave, her food from the garbage heap, and even the master she had finally found had been an accidental discovery by the river.
But she never minded any of it. Instead, she yearned for the cultivation world her master described and wanted to rebuild the sect according to her master's wishes.
When her master was gravely wounded and near death, she crossed mountains in search of spirit herbs. When her master lamented their lack of strength, she risked her life to obtain a secret treasure. When her master worried about the sect's future, she devoted herself to studying cultivation manuals day and night, forgetting to eat or sleep...
Everything was going smoothly until one day a group of cultivators suddenly flew in from the horizon, shouting for her master's blood.
Their leader, a fairy-like woman, cried, "Demoness, die!" and unleashed a sword technique to execute her master on the spot.
Jian Chengyu trembled and ran uncontrollably toward the incoming sword. Then darkness swallowed her. When she woke, she had returned to the age of seven, before she had met her master.
This time, her master was gone, replaced by a little child even younger than she was.
Facing their beleaguered sect, Jian Chengyu took the child she'd picked up by the hand and thought helplessly:
What else can I do? I guess I'll raise this kid on my own and make the best of it.
Later, thanks to her efforts, the sect flourished and began to look like a prestigious school.
As the senior-most disciple, Jian Chengyu was very pleased. Still, three things worried her.
First, for some reason, the sect was deserted, and few people came to study there.
Second, her master was still missing, but a troublemaking demoness was claiming to be her.
Third, her junior sister was looking more and more like the fairy who had led the demon-slaying party in her previous life: the murderer who had run her through with a sword.
Each problem was more troublesome than the last. Jian Chengyu chose the easiest one to deal with first. She found a young cultivator with lofty ambitions and prepared to take her in as a disciple.
But although their first conversation went well, the next time they met, the young cultivator refused her again and again, then fled in panic.
Back at the sect, her usually well-behaved junior sister pinned her against the wall, her expression gloomy.
"Senior Sister, am I not your only junior sister anymore?"
Her master, missing for over a decade, suddenly appeared too, dressed in red and alluringly beautiful. She took Jian Chengyu's hand and said:
"Good disciple, come with your master."

One of two possible upcoming stories, posting this one first to see how it goes:
Transmigrated as the Villainous Immortal Venerable's Little Pet Mouse
Ming Man transmigrated into a book and became a tiny hamster hiding in the home of the villainess.
The villainous boss, Shang Zhuoyun, was revered by the world as the Immortal Venerable of Yaoshan. She was spotless and obsessively clean.
Ming Man hid in the corner of a bookcase, trembling so much she didn't even dare sleep soundly, afraid she'd die in her sleep.
But the Immortal Venerable lived simply and had reached such a high level of cultivation that she no longer needed to eat. Across the mountainside, there was not a single thing that could fill Ming Man's belly.
The poor little mouse, cold and hungry, nibbled on grass and drank from puddles. One careless moment, she crawled into a wine jar, took a few greedy sips, and promptly passed out drunk.
The Immortal Venerable pinched the unknown creature lying beside her wine cup between two fingers. Puzzled, she turned to her disciple and asked:
"What is this?"
After a humiliating slip-up, Ming Man woke from her drunken stupor and faced a beautiful but icy woman. With tears in her eyes, she swore she'd never touch alcohol again.
She never expected the illustrious Immortal Venerable of Yaoshan not to recognize a hamster. Thinking her some kind of spirit beast, the Venerable carefully raised her by her side, hoping she'd gain intelligence and embark on the path to immortality.
With good food, plenty to drink, and a beautiful companion, Ming Man lived in comfort and gradually forgot that she'd transmigrated.
One day, she saw her round body reflected in a pool of water and suddenly came to her senses.
Huh? What happened to the plot? Where's the heroine?
Everyone knew the Immortal Venerable of Yaoshan was aloof and cold, indifferent to human feeling, yet possessed profound cultivation and stood at the pinnacle of the world. She was an object of admiration to all.
They also knew she kept a strange spirit beast by her side, one that was useless and wasteful. They all bet on when it would be thrown out of the immortal sect.
The heroine had heard the rumors too. She stood beneath the disciple-selection platform, curiously studying the true face of the Immortal Venerable of Yaoshan.
But there she was, the venerable figure in white robes and a jade crown, piling all kinds of treasures beside the little mouse on the table and coaxing her softly: "I'll give all of these to you. Please don't be mad at me anymore, okay?"
