An Apocalypse Novel

(Putting this aside for now)

On the day the apocalypse arrived, Su Youning was at the office in the middle of the night, furiously typing away at her computer, miserably reworking a proposal her boss had sent back for the umpteenth time.

So when she realized the city had descended into chaos and the apocalypse had arrived, her first thought was:

Finally, I don't have to work this crappy job anymore! As long as I don't have to go to work, what's a mere apocalypse...

Worst case, I'll just die.

Su Youning let loose. She grabbed a broom and whacked every zombie she saw. When one hit wasn't enough, she hit them twice, going on an absolute rampage.

Then she turned around and saw her usually aloof, otherworldly boss, wielding a little shovel and taking down one little monster after another with practiced ease. Her expression was calm, her heart even colder than someone who'd spent ten years killing fish at a supermarket.

Su Youning: "?"

Is this right?
