[Detective] Watson Has Finally Had It

Sherlock x Watson x Little Blue Whale

Lighthearted, everyday story with no romance (P.S. Meaning Watson's daily "I'm not gay!" routine)

What happens when the "world's best partners" meet a "deep-thinking artificial idiot"?

When Sherlock returns from the dead, Mycroft recommends the world's most advanced AI, Little Blue Whale.

On the one hand, he hopes the consulting detective will bring Little Blue Whale along on cases, improving the AI's ability to reason through them.

On the other, he hopes his brother, who is remarkably human in his social dealings, can learn how ordinary people think by observing Little Blue Whale.

Sherlock thinks the first idea makes perfect sense. The second is as stupid as Mycroft's weight-loss plan.

But the detective, thrilled to have his legal identity back, can't be bothered with that. He has to go surprise his dear Watson!

At their first meeting after Sherlock's return from the dead, Watson punches him so hard his nose bleeds.

Little Blue Whale: (Thinking for 1,314 seconds)

Shit, Watson is completely furious. He's pointed out the heart of the matter: if I really valued my relationship with him, why didn't I tell him I was faking my death for two whole years? There's no way to explain that from a human perspective. I have a whole organization of street urchins and a politician for an older brother, and Molly, Mycroft, and even some of the homeless know I faked my death. That's a plot hole on the level of a criminal offense. I have to admit that all my earlier excuses were bullshit, rebuild my logic, and use sincerity and a clever plan to convince him to move back into 221B.

Sherlock, receiving the analysis: What the hell!

1. The author was dying after getting up early for class and couldn't resist starting a new story. It's a silly, wacky everyday comedy.

2. No romance, but please ship them (offers a chair).

3. Dedicated to Little Blue Whale, whose love of deep thinking has been a huge help in my studies and daily life.

Theme: Deep thought cannot quantify the warmth and coldness of human nature. Only justice and kindness are an eternal bright moon
