[Charming, beloved ray-of-sunshine pastry chef × roguish, self-destructive hunter who hates sweets]
The magnetic storm apocalypse. People awaken supernatural abilities.
Some command thunder, while others can see through all things.
Mi You awakens the talent [Pastry Shop]. She can make little cakes by hand, and everyone considers it the most useless talent.
She accepts this calmly, playing the part of a weak, helpless girl while keeping her sharp edge hidden.
Then a wave of phantom beasts, classified as level ten, overwhelms the front lines, and everyone falls into despair.
The pastry chef they all thought would only tremble behind everyone else finally steps onto the mountain of corpses and sea of blood, unhurriedly.
“Sorry,” she says, wiping the blood from her cheek, her smile still sweet. “I'm a combat specialist.”
**
The Old Gods' servants cast their gaze upon the world, seeing humans as little more than animals and seeking to restore the glory of the Old Gods.
They soon discover an incomprehensible bug amid humanity's futile resistance.
What she raises her hand to deliver is judgment.
When the most arrogant servant is forcibly “purified” into a puddle of sludge by a hand that smells of sweet cream, panic spreads through the ranks of the gods.
“Something's wrong with the intel! That pastry chef is not right!”
**
At this moment, Mi You is looking down at the so-called “deity” trembling at her feet.
Arcs of light gather in her hand, forming a crescent blade.
“You want to restore the glory of the gods?”
She tilts her head and chuckles, her blade already at the god's core.
“Unfortunately, my shopping list...”
“...is just missing this kind of ingredient.”
Mi You wants it, Mi You gets it.
If you look at me like I'm an insect, I'll turn the tables and kill you.
Rotten gods, you'll pay for what you've done.
[Reader's Guide]
1. This story focuses on how humanity should live when it sits at the bottom of the food chain. Survival is a challenge, but can life go on?
2. There are plenty of female characters, with lots of standout moments!
3. [Talents] + Lovecraftian elements in the middle and later parts + survival in a wasteland apocalypse + hallucinations caused by corruption
4. The pacing is a little slow, but things get more exciting later. Stay tuned.
5. Ensemble cast. I personally love doting on male characters, so don't worry about the men being stronger.

[Female god × little mythical beast]
Huan Hao is the god who rules over dreams.
Even gods get hungry.
A look at Huan Hao's menu:
Dream-eating tapirs who love nightmares;
Dream-eating tapirs who don't like nightmares.
**
The dream god Huan Hao wakes up very hungry today, so she reaches out to the delicate threads of dreams and travels through the realm of dreams...
Waiting for a tapir to come along.
Most tapirs love eating nightmares, so Huan Hao always reaches for the black-stained threads.
She could easily get rid of the annoying nightmares, but chooses to stand by and watch so she can wait quietly for a tapir to walk into her trap.
Nightmares can kill people.
Huan Hao watches people scream and run around in terror, growing annoyed.
Where is that tapir already?
**
Huan Hao's ears hurt from all the noise, so she casually helps someone deal with a monster in their dream, then frowns at the humans thanking her profusely.
She didn't manage to catch a tapir today. She's so hungry.
She's dealt with too many nightmares, and now Huan Hao is even more annoyed.
No nightmares means no tapirs.
**
Bai Doufu is a tapir who doesn't like nightmares.
Nightmares are sour, salty, bitter, and spicy, but never sweet.
Bai Doufu sees the black dreams growing fewer and fewer, and happily dives into a creamy white dream to feast...
Only to be grabbed by the scruff of the neck.
Bai Doufu: Squeak?
From then on, Huan Hao adds one more item to her menu.
**
Bai Doufu: Squeak!! Don't eat me!
So, to avoid being eaten, Bai Doufu starts working for the dream god...
Clearing away the delicious meals of its fellow tapirs.
Bai Doufu has become a disgrace to dream-eating tapirs and the dream god's emergency rations.
Daily question: Did Huan Hao wake up hungry today?
Theme: Fight corruption and protect all living beings
