Endless Thoughts of Rain

Frost melts when it meets rain, and rain leaves a mark on frost (not mutually exclusive)

"This story shares the 'capital city' setting with Long Jasmine, Sleepless Nights, Qu Si, Starfall Remains (yuri novels), and Night Talks in the West Wing, Knowing the Years but Not You, and Chu Sheng Fu (Boys' Love novels). Characters may make cameo appearances across stories, but each novel has its own independent plot."

Theme: Never hang yourself from a single tree. There are better things ahead.
