After My Best Friend and I Transmigrated to the Detective World

After transmigrating to the unfamiliar Beika Town, Yuki had her whole worldview upended by the alarming rate of crimes there on her very first day.

Robbery, poisoning, and murder, all happening in a single day?!

At least her best friend had transmigrated with her. Otherwise, she had no idea how she would get by.

Mezcal, a distinctive drink from the distillery.

A graduate of Gin's special training class, she went alone to the boss on the very first day she received her codename and demanded to change it to Maotai.

The request was denied, so she raised hell at the distillery for three days.

Her defining traits: a total disregard for her own life, and no concern for anyone else's.

At the time, Officer Furuya had just begun his undercover assignment. He swore that one day he would bring these vile criminals to justice.

Bourbon's first day working with Mezcal.

He was diligently gathering intelligence, preparing to infiltrate the organization, contact Public Security, and leak information.

Then he looked back and saw Mezcal chatting up an innocent passerby right in the middle of the street.

The second day of their assignment.

That woman skipped the mission entirely to harass the young lady she had failed to win over the day before.

Word soon spread through the organization that Mezcal had recently found herself a fascinating new toy. Everyone started betting on how long it would last.

Then, instead, they got the news that the distillery had fallen and Mezcal had defected.
