Xiao Qiang was a die-hard fan of ghost stories, practically obsessed.
On a dark and stormy night, Xiao Qiang strode determinedly to the highest mountaintop near his home.
He firmly believed that the higher you stood, the farther you could see, and that he might even catch a glimpse of a ghost's true form.
Unfortunately, he didn't see any ghosts. Instead, he got struck by lightning. As the saying goes, lighting a toilet just leads you to shit.
But how could Xiao Qiang, the protagonist of this book, possibly be written off just like that? After being struck by lightning, he gained a special ability. Talk about a blind cat stumbling onto a dead mouse: pure luck.
This ability allowed Xiao Qiang to make one small wish each day, which would last for three days. Basically, a Xiao Qiang version of Aladdin's magic lamp (not really).
Xiao Qiang: I want to see a ghost right now!
Wishes can't be too ridiculous or go beyond the bounds of normal logic.
Xiao Qiang: ?
Treasure your chances and use them wisely!
